THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that said Transfer of Permanent Legal and Physical Custody be heard by the Court at the Washington County District Courthouse, Stillwater, Minnesota, on June 16, 2023, @ 3:20 p.m. via Zoom, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, and on any subsequent hearing dates set on this matter.

In the matter of the petition for the boundary change between the Brown’s Creek Watershed District (BCWD) & the Carnelian-Marine-St. Croix Watershed District (CMSCWD), pursuant to Minn. Stat. §103B.215.
Whereas, the subject petition and complete supporting documentation were received on February 22, 2023, and served on the Board of Water and Soil Resources (Board) pursuant to Minn. Stat. §103B.215. The Board has reviewed the petition for conformance with state law and rule.

Now therefore, the Board hereby issues the following:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board invites written comments on the petition for a boundary change. All comments received will be considered before a decision is made to change the boundary. Any person who objects to the petition may submit a written request for hearing to the Board. If no written requests for a hearing are submitted within 20 days of the last publication of this notice of filing, the Board will consider all of the comments and information received pertaining to the petition and make a decision on the boundary change at a regular Board meeting without conducting a public hearing.

The proposed boundary change encompasses approximately 600 acres of land in Washington County, Minnesota that would correct the watershed designation of 226 parcels at various locations along the common boundaries of the watershed management organizations.

- Resolution No. 2023-041, enter into Agreement No. 1050364A01 with MnDOT to transfer the jurisdiction of Trunk Highway (TH) 96 within Washington County.
- Agreement No. 1050364A01 between the state and the county to transfer the jurisdiction of TH 96 (Dellwood Road), from TH 244 (Dellwood Avenue) to TH 95 (Broadway Street), a 9.0 mile segment.

Approval of the following actions:
- Resolution No. 2023-043, proclaiming May 7-13, 2023, as National Correctional Officers Week.
- Sheriff Dan Starry announced that Lt. John Warneke, Assistant Jail Administrator, is retiring after 30 years of service to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and presented Lt. Warneke with a Meritorious Service Award for his extraordinary service.

Approval of the following actions:
- Resolution No. 2023-039, Washington County’s 2023 Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnerships programs and authorizing submission of such grant request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
