The most significant piece of business before the May Township board of supervisors at their Nov. 3 meeting was whether or not to accept the planning commission’s recommended changes to the township’s comprehensive plan and ordinances. But new information presented by the township’s attorney led the supervisors to postpone their vote until the end of the month, when the conservancy district moratorium is set to expire.

The township’s planning commission had recommended removing the option of a youth camp from the list of allowable uses in the conservancy district. They recommended accepting all of the other proposed changes to the township’s plans and codes.
