COMMISSION

NOTICE is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Scandia will meet in the Board Room of the Scandia Community/Senior Center, 14727 209th St. N., on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. to consider the following:

An Ordinance to amend the City of Scandia Development Code, Chapter 2, Section 3.2 Development Standards for Accessory Structures.  The proposed amendment provides for increases in the allowed number and total square footage of accessory structures, removes the minimum lot size requirement for exceptions for historic accessory buildings, and provides similar provisions for location of structures in shoreland and river districts.

Anyone wishing to express their opinion on the proposed amendments will be heard at the public hearing.  This notice is given pursuant to the Development Code of the City of Scandia.  

Copies of the proposed amendment may be examined during office hours at the Scandia Community Center, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except holidays.
