General Administration

Approval of the following actions:

- February 11 and February 25, 2020, County Board meeting minutes.

- Resolution No. 2020-021, appoint Washington County Deputy Administrator Jennifer Wagenius as the County Auditor-Treasurer.

- County Administrator Kevin Corbid presented a revision in the county’s 2020 Legislative priorities platform related to the transit capital taxing district. Mr. Corbid reported on other legislative items such as responses to coronavirus (COVID-19) and funding for county projects.

- Mr. Corbid reported the County Attorney’s Office Annual Report was provided to commissioners. 

- Board correspondence was received and placed on file.

- Board workshop to review assessment year 2020/pay 2021 property valuations.

Public Health and Environment

- Director Lowell Johnson reported on the county’s efforts regarding COVID-19.

Public Works

Approval of the following actions:

- Resolution No. 2020-020, waive daily permit fees, allowing free entry into Washington County Parks on April 25, 2020, in honor of the 50 year anniversary of Earth Day.

- Change Order No. 3 for Contract No. 12838 with Action Fence Inc. in the amount of $660 for work on the Wildwood Library project.

- Contract No. 13303 in the amount of $399,250 with Alliant Engineering Inc. for County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 33 (Everton Ave N) Pedestrian and Safety Improvement project.

- Contract No. 13267 in the amount of $158,890 with LinnCo Inc. for the CSAH 21 (Stagecoach Trail) Culvert Replacement project.

- Contract No. 13244 in the amount of $10,505,829 with S.M. Hentges & Sons Inc. for the CSAH 18 (Bailey Rd) Woodlane Drive to CSAH 13 project.

- Cooperative Agreement No. 13187 for construction cost share with the City of Woodbury for the CSAH 18 (Bailey Rd) Woodlane Drive to CSAH 13 project.

- Maintenance Agr. No. 13188 for maintenance with the City of Woodbury for the CSAH 18 (Bailey Rd) Woodlane Drive to CSAH 13 project.

- Permanent use of fund balance in an amount not to exceed $700,000 from the Road & Bridge Capital Projects fund for the CSAH 18 (Bailey Rd) Woodlane Drive to CSAH 13 project.

- Board workshop to review potential options for joint development of a West Central Service Center. 

Sheriff’s Office

Approval of the following actions:

- Grant Agr. No. 13295 with MN Department of Public Safety in the amount of $322,980 for sex trafficking investigations.

- Accept the 2019 State of MN Federal Boating Safety Supplemental Equipment Grant Agr. No. 13300 in the amount of $33,596.

- Amend Grant Agr. No. 12519 with the Office of National Drug Control Policy in the amount of $10,000.
