Phyllis A. Rydeen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and long-time resident of May Township, died May 21, 2015.

She was born Sept. 16, 1926, in Stillwater, Minn., daughter of Hermie (Borden) and Theodore Schroeder.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester E. Rydeen; daughter, Susan P. Howe; sister, Eleanor and brothers, Robert and Glen.

Phyllis is survived by children, Judy Edstrom, Sandra Holcomb (James), Gary, and Brian; son-in-law, Charles Howe; grandchildren, Julie Edstrom, Cynthia Kilham (Erick), Amy Bernstrom (Todd), Heidi Lammers (Kevin), Dan Edstrom (Sarah), Eric Edstrom (Ruth), Tim Howe (Nicci), Sara Gracek (Brian), Lynnae Howe (Joe) and Greta Kahl (Chuck); great-grandchildren, Cameron, Maren and Tristan Olson, Anders and Bergen Kilham, Logan, Levi, Jacob and Ben Lammers, Nell and Emery Edstrom, Owen Howe, Raymond and Joshua Gracek, and Lauren, Taylor and Chloe Kahl; brother, Marvin Schroeder (Bev); sister, Audrey Jeans; and many other relatives and friends.

Services were May 29 at 11 a.m.Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Visitation May 28 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Interment Fairview Cemetery.

Memorials preferred to Family Means, Boutwells Landing Circle of Friends, Trinity Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
