Gammelgarden Lutfisk Dinner

As lunch seatings sell out for the Gammelgården Museum’s annual lutfisk and Swedish meatball fundraiser, organizers are still seeking volunteers to help with the event.

“You can’t imagine the laughter and fun those working behind the scenes have the days leading up to the dinner but also the day of the dinner,” said communications director Sarah Porubcansky. “We need volunteers in the kitchen on Tuesday, Nov. 13, to help prepare the lutfisk (under Mark and Carol Rossi’s watchful eyes); Wednesday, Nov. 14, for kitchen prep and dining room set up. Then on the big day — Thursday, Nov. 15 — from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hot prep and cold prep cooks are needed. Clean up and dishwashers from 3 to 8 p.m.”
