AnneMarie Studer of Grand Forks, ND was awarded the title of Mrs. North Dakota American 2020 on Sept. 12.
AnneMarie is married to Mike Studer. She is originally from Scandia and is the daughter of Craig and Lynne Kirvida. AnneMarie is a 2017 graduate of the University of Northwestern -- St. Paul, where she received degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Currently, AnneMarie is employed as a guardian ad litem by Youthworks of North Dakota. Her husband, Mike, is currently in his final year of law school at the University of North Dakota.
AnneMarie’s impressive educational background, volunteer experience, and her guardian ad litem work naturally led her to her platform of child advocacy. Specifically, she has chosen Childhelp, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the Intervention and prevention of child abuse.
Queen AnneMarie will compete at the Mrs. American pageant in Las Vegas in the areas of personal interview, evening gown, swimsuit, and state costume. The winner of the Mrs. American pageant will compete at the Mrs. World pageant in Sri Lanka.
The Mrs. North Dakota American pageant is co-directed by Michael and Meg Morley.
