No one was injured in a fire at a Wild Mountain building March 30.

On its Facebook page, they announced the fire took place in its maintenance building.

“The fire was contained to our maintenance building and it didn’t effect our base lodge or other structures,” the post states. “Although we have lost many of the tools and machinery inside the building, we are happy to report that no one was hurt.”

It went on to explain the winter operations for 2021/2022 will not be significantly impacted, but more time will be needed how the fire will be affect summer operations.

“We want to thank all of the neighboring fire and police teams that arrived on the scene this morning,” the post concludes. “Without them, the outcome may have been for worse.”
