ill host the 12th Annual Hay Lake Beer Tasting on Saturday, June 15.
Over the last twelve years the event has become a keys fundraiser for the Washington County Historical Society. This year’s breweries include Bent Brewstillery, Lift Bridge, Joseph Wolf, Fair State, Sierra Nevada, Castle Danger, St. Croix Brewing, Alloy Brewing and Red Neck Juice.
The tasting also will consist of food from the Scandia-Marine Lions Club and live music featuring jazz group Arete.
In addition, there will be a silent auction that includes two white oak bourbon barrels from Lift Bridge Brewing, tickets to a St. Paul Saints game, a champagne brunch for four at the Water Street Inn in Stillwater, and other items.
1860 Vintage Base Ball will be played on the grounds near the school from noon to 4 p.m. and is free to watch. Once you are done watching “old time” base ball, walk over some beer, music, food and friends!
The Washington County Historical Society collects, preserves, and disseminates the history of the county and state of Minnesota. Founded in 1934, WCHS is supported by individual gifts, membership fees, and foundation grants. For more information, visit www.wchsmn.org.
