Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVUCOM) is pleased to announce the matriculation of student doctor Madeline Gemuenden of Forest Lake, Minnesota. Gemuenden was one of 162 students selected to matriculate at RVUCOM out of an applicant pool of over 5,4,00 candidates.

Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine are fully licensed physicians who practice a “whole person” approach to medicine. Osteopathic physicians focus on preventive health care and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system.

Gemuenden is the daughter of Bob and Carol Gemuenden, and the granddaughter of Thomas and Elaine Gemuenden, and Ronald and JoAnne Ricker. She is a graduate of Forest Lake Area High School. She graduated from Concordia College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry and Environmental Science. Gemuenden also attended Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine where she earned a Master of Arts degree in Biomedical Science.
