Republican incumbents Karin Housley and Bob Dettmer were both reelected to the Minnesota legislature Tuesday night. 

Housley representing State Senate District 39, defeated Josiah Hill 29,213-25,892 (52.9-46.9 percent).

Dettmer survived the challenge from Ann Mozey in the Representative District 39A race. Dettmer finished with 15,484 votes compared to Mozey's 11,259.
