The 2nd Annual Scandia Fun Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, May 22nd, convening at the Scandia Community Center’s warming house (next to the ice rink). This event is sponsored by the Scandia Elementary PTO with all proceeds benefiting the school. Enjoy a scenic run along the beautiful countryside that surrounds the Scandia community. This year there will be three events: a 10K, 5K, and 1K, the first starting at 8:30 a.m. Childcare is being offered by the Youth Group of Elim Lutheran Church (pre-registration required by May 12th). An awards ceremony with prize giveaways will take place immediately following the 1K. Advance registration, completed by May 12th, guarantees participants a T-shirt and these prices: 5K/10K is $25 for ages 14 and up, or $20 for ages 13 and under; the 1K is $15 for all ages.
