Charlotte Wilcox of Marine on St. Croix, MN and Sanibel FL, took first place in the women’s division of the Cast Net Rodeo held in Sanibel, FL. Contestants came from many states to compete in this annual event. The event consisted of netting a moving target from several directions and also netting a stationary target. Charlotte had the highest score from one position of the moving target competition and came in fourth overall. Her first place finish in the women’s competition was cheered by Don and Judy Maurer of Marine on St. Croix, and Linda and Tom Nyman of Stillwater, MN.
